The results are in! RRI networks scored a perfect 100-percent accuracy rate across 1349 data points in the recent joint RRI-REACT emergency communications exercise. Average message propagation time through the network was 19-minutes between the control station in Michigan and the four locations in California, Kentucky, Massachusetts and Texas. This included the time allocated for administrative burden. Excellent circuit quality was also attained across three HF frequency circuits at 5.4, 7, and 14-mHz. The Dallas link was maintained using a simple HF mobile installation, with all traffic being cleared in a timely fashion without fills! Our congratulations to all RRI and REACT members who participated. A particular thanks to the IATN operations team for their outstanding service.
