RRI welcomes EPAEPTN and QMN as new affiliated nets
Eastern Penna Emergency Phone & Traffic Net
EPAEPTN was founded ca 1957 in response to a series of devastating hurricanes. Civil Defense officials deployed mobile capable amateurs to report on flooding levels, infrastructure damage, and casualties saving many lives. EPAEPTN has been in daily operation since.

Michigan QMN Net
The Michigan QMN Net is the nation’s oldest public service net and the originator of today’s spot-frequency method. It was founded in 1935 by the Detroit Amateur Radio Association. Members of the net invented the QN-Signals used today for net and traffic management.
